Unione Musicale opens its rich 2024-2025 season with an extraordinary event featuring internationally renowned performers such as the Belcea Quartet and violist Tabea Zimmermann, who will perform two masterpieces from Mozart’s maturity: Quintet K. 406 and Quintet K. 515.
Belcea Quartet, a regular guest of Unione Musicale’s seasons, is composed of musicians of different origins: Romanian violinist Corina Belcea, Polish violist Krzysztof Chorzelski, French cellist Antoine Lederlin, and recently joined Korean-Australian violinist Suyeon Kang. The quartet’s distinctive feature lies in blending various musical influences and traditions into a homogeneous, refined, and expressive language.
Tabea Zimmermann, one of the world’s most esteemed violists, is known for her versatility and dedication to promoting young talents and new music. Throughout her artistic career, she has combined performances with illustrious orchestras and chamber music activities, performing in major concert halls and collaborating with prestigious partners such as Belcea Quartet, with whom she recorded Brahms’ String Sextets (alongside Jean-Guihen Queyras).
