Six voices, an unmistakable sound, over fifty years of history: the legendary King’s Singers, among the most celebrated vocal ensembles in the world and regular guests of the Unione Musicale since 1978, are returning to Turin.
Charismatic, versatile, and impeccable, the King’s Singers offer a musical experience that spans the centuries with ease and British humor. The Live in Concert program is a journey through styles and atmospheres: from the Renaissance music of Alonso and Hassler to the baroque refinements of Purcell, to the colors of twentieth-century France with Ravel, Poulenc, and Saint-Saëns. There are also forays into musicals, jazz, the Anglo-Saxon tradition, and the lightness of singer-songwriter music.
